Fill-Ins, Confessions, & Letters
Friday is all sorts of fun.
First up is the 104th weekly Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun Blog Hop.
My Answers:
1. My tummy is my least favorite feature. But I’m working on it – 60 day insanse workout program, y’all.
2. I was very talkative as a child. My mom said, I even had the squeaky mouse voice to with it. I’m sure I must’ve annoyed a lot of people.
3. The first room I clean in my house is the family room because that is where the kids play. And while they make a mess of it again, I can be cleaning other parts of the house…
4. If I had the guts to try out for college volleyball (back in the day) then I could be up there with the likes of Misty May (Treanor) and Kerri Walsh (Jennings)! Ok, maybe….maybe not. It would’ve have been better to try though. Right?
So I found this fun, new linky at A Blonde Ambition called…
Here goes:
1. I confess that I’m ignoring the call of “Naptime” just to write this blog post. I’ll regret it later.
2. I confess that I’m still drinking the coffee I made 5 and a half hours ago. I think I’ve reheated it about 4 times. (Confess. You do it too. Right?)
3. I confess that I’m a tiny bit glad to be sick because it means I get a break from working out. Just a tiny bit!
4. I confess that after more than a year of blogging, I’m still learning the ropes. I’ve even got some kindle books to help me! (Expect good things to come.) 😀
5. I confess that I’m way behind in homeschooling. Someone please come babysit my two little ones so my eldest and I can have our own conclave and not come out ’til we can announce, “We. Are. Done!”
And then I also found this little gem from The Sweet Season…
Dear CJ You’ve been pretty cranky lately and don’t eat as well as you used to. A bottle of milk is all you want most of the time. This is really frustrating me because you are almost two and need to eat solid food again. I think you’re teething. I’m sorry you feel crappy, but know that there is an end to the madness. Mommy still loves your cranky cuteness. Dear Carmel You’re such a fun toddler to be around, but could you please take a nap and sleep when you’re supposed to? I’m getting pretty tried going up and down the stairs a million times a day (and night). On the other hand, my toned calves thanks you. Dear Therese I’m quite proud of you for undertaking a project for your dad’s birthday gift. I won’t mention what it is in case he reads this, but I love watching you “make” your present. He will love it. I’m sure of it. Dear Husband Thank you for all your hard work, in providing for all our family’s needs (and some of my wants). Your love doesn’t go unnoticed.
Gathering Graces
